The Catholic Women's League of Canada (CWL) has always been a faithful and strong supporter of our Home Missions especially in the area of religious education
CMIC owes the CWL much thanks for their years of support and for helping shape the Missions Partners program the way it is today! The CWL continues to support CMIC through the League's National Catechesis Fund, as well as through direct donations from their local councils and parishes.
Many loyal CMIC supporters are also League members who help spread the good news of missionary work in Canada. The CWL understands that every opportunity we have to inform others that Canada is still a mission country will help promote support for our missions.

Vivian Bosch, CWL National President (2000-2002), adopted the theme “The Open Door” as a call to a new evangelization project for League members to support Canada’s struggling mission church through the work of Catholic Missions In Canada. In 2003, CWL members approved a motion making Catholic Missions In Canada a permanent National Voluntary Fund.
