Gift planning very simply means planning to make a gift to charity that is often the gift of a lifetime. A planned gift to Catholic Missions In Canada can be made outright for use immediately for our missions, or deferred arranged now for completion later. Some gifts, such as gift annuities, are designed to provide a lifetime income for our donors and to support the work of our missions later.
In addition to gift annuities, donors can choose endowments, gifts of life insurance, publicly listed securities, gift loans, property, RRIFs and bequests.

In exchange for an irrevocable cash gift to share the Word of God in our poor mission dioceses, Catholic Missions In Canada will establish a charitable gift annuity for you. |
You can leave a legacy of faith by remembering our missionaries through a bequest in your will. |
You can establish an endowment in your name or in memory of a loved one. An endowment is an investment in the future of our Canadian missions. |
You may need your life insurance policies while your children are still dependent on you or while you have a mortgage on your home or for your own peace of mind and security. |
A charitable gift loan is a sum of money lent to Catholic Missions In Canada which is in turn invested and the interest earned is used to support the needs of our missions. |
A gift of shares allows you, our donors, to get a significant tax benefit. With a gift of shares, you don't have to include any of the capital gain into you taxable income and there is no worry about clawbacks on your Old Age Security benefits. |
You can donate retirement savings (Registered Retirement Savings Plans and Registered Retirement Income Funds) and pension funds to Catholic Missions In Canada when you retire. |
A residual interest agreement is funded by your principal residence or other tangible property that is given to the Catholic Missions In Canada, but you retain its use during your lifetime. |
You can make a difference in the lives of the people in our farflung and isolated mission communities. |
