Canada remains a mission country.

Sadly, even today, in the remote towns and villages, First Nations reserves and settlements of our great nation, many of our brothers and sisters in faith are often only able to welcome a priest twice a year, at Christmas and Easter.

Catholic Missions In Canada, formerly The Catholic Church Extension Society of Canada, works to support our missionaries as they proclaim the Gospel to God's own beloved people in the isolated and farthest reaches of our nation.
